Instagram bans RFK Jr. for anti-vaccine posts
A former, prominent Hudson Valley resident is now booted off a popular social media site over controversial vaccine claims.
Instagram has taken down the account of anti-vaccine activist Robert F. Kennedy Jr. who used to live in Westchester.
A spokesperson for Facebook, which owns Instagram, says "We removed this account for repeatedly sharing debunked claims about the coronavirus or vaccines."
The son of the late U.S. senator and presidential candidate has repeatedly spoken out against vaccines.
