A Connecticut company founded in Westchester is helping fight against the spread of the coronavirus.
Ranger Ready is known for its popular insect repellent. But in recent weeks, the owners, Ted Kesten and Chris Fuentes, have shifted their production line and have developed a hand sanitizer.
The process of developing a new product would normally take at least six months, but they did it in 10 days, with most people working from home.
The hand sanitizer is available for purchase on the company's website, with their first orders going to Connecticut hospitals.
The owners say it's great to give back when it matters most.
