A Dobbs Ferry woman says she was removed from a plane in West Palm Beach, Fla. after siding with two women who were allegedly bullied by a flight attendant.
On Monday, Karyn Schorr and two fellow passengers were escorted off Air Tran Flight 1451 bound for Westchester County Airport.
One of the two women, Marlyn Miller, says she asked a flight attendant to be careful with her overhead luggage because she had breakables inside. In response, Miller says the man became irritated and rattled her bag even harder.
The tensions escalated when another passenger, Carol Gray, of Conn., needed help with a broken seat nearby. Gray says the flight attendant told her, "I'm not talking to you," and poked her in the arm.
Both women were ordered to leave the plane, and when Schorr spoke up in their defense, she too was escorted out.
Despite being grounded temporarily, Schorr says she would do it all over.
The three women were placed on other flights and even given round-trip tickets for future Air Tran trips, but Schorr says she'll pass.
