The Yonkers Marathon is set for Sunday, and a big team decked out in green will be battling to the finish.

Over 300 people will represent the Aisling team at the second-longest running marathon in U.S. history.

Some will be coming from as far as Ireland to join their Aisling Irish Community Center runners and support the work they do for their community.

The center supports others through mental health programs and showcases of Irish arts and culture.

Runners say that the center has brought them together and helped develop strong friendships.

The 93rd running of the Yonkers Marathon starts at 8 a.m. at the Yonkers Riverfront Library.
