Runners in Port Chester took a proactive approach to burning off Thanksgiving meal calories by participating in the village's annual "Turkey Trot."
Hundreds of runners gathered at Port Chester High School Thursday morning for the annual 3.5-mile run.
The race raises money for the Tamarack Tower Foundation, a charity that gives scholarships and learning tools to area schools.
The day is also a major fundraiser for County Coach's Stuff a Bus Campaign.
