Three of the 37 places that are nominated to the state and national Registers of Historic Places are our region.
In Dutchess County, a building at 317 Main St. on the Main Mall Row Historic District in Poughkeepsie and the Standard Gage Company Plant are nominated.
The William H. and Mary M. Romeyn House in Ulster county is also up for the recognition.
