A Hudson Valley CBD company is now joining forces with Pepsi.
The beverage company Kalo made the announcement Tuesday at a news conference at its headquarters in Warwick.
The CBD-infused seltzer is made from locally grown hemp. Kalo launched its product earlier this year in New Jersey.
Reps say they partnered with Pepsi now that New York is now easing restrictions on food products containing the herbal remedy.
State Sen. Jen Metzger was on hand for the announcement, presenting local hemp farmers with a $250,000 state grant to purchase farm equipment.
