A power outage at a housing complex in Yonkers has officials and residents wondering why the lights went out.
Residents at the Calcagno Homes complex on School Street say everything just went black at around 10 p.m. Sunday. Yonkers Municipal Housing Authority officials have yet to determine what caused the outage. Officials are stumped because power to the building next door is on and so are the street lights.
The outage has been especially difficult on those living on the upper floors of the 13-story building. Residents add that it's been tough without air conditioning.
Crews are working on the problem. City officials plan to have a generator installed to help residents cope.
