ALERTS: The National Weather Service has issued an air quality alert for elevated ground level ozone for Westchester and Rockland counties until 11 p.m. This is the more "normal" air quality alert that are typical on hot summer days which only affects sensitive groups. This is NOT related to wildfire smoke or last night's fireworks smoke.
