Hofstra University announced a new president Wednesday.
Dr. Susan Poser will become the next president of Hofstra University on Aug. 1, 2021.
Poser will be the university’s first female president.
Hofstra University said that for the past five years, Poser served as the provost and vice chancellor for academic affairs at the University of Illinois Chicago.
