The Monhagen Middle School went into a lockdown Friday after a student made a hoax active shooter phone call to 911.
The lockdown happened just after 12 p.m. and lasted for 14 minutes.
An entire sweep of the campus was done out of an abundance of caution.
School officials say once no threat was determined, the building went on with its normal schedule and after school activities continued.
Wallkill police are continuing to investigate to determine who was involved.
