The Hillcrest Fire Department received a pallet of canned drinking water earlier this month from Anheuser-Busch.
The delivery consisted of more than 2,000 12-ounce cans of water.
It is part of the brewing company's effort to keep firefighters hydrated when they respond to natural disasters or wildland fires.
The Hillcrest Fire Department applied, and this was the first time it was chosen.
An official told News 12 that the department responds to dozens of brush fire-related incidents each year.
The pallet of drinking water will be divided between their three firehouses.
"Water keeps our guys going. Rehab is a big part of the fire service, making sure our firefighters are safe while we're performing our duties. So this water will now help them do that," said the department's Orin Ben-Jacob.
Anheuser-Busch says more than 8.9 million cans of water have been distributed to 2,500 departments across the country since this program began in 2019.
