Westchester County is now loaning municipalities vacuums to catch spotted lanternflies.

Earlier this year, the county's Parks Department got high-powered vacuums to eliminate lanternflies. There are 10 available specifically to loan.

Anyone who works for a Westchester municipality can request them through a form on a first come, first served basis.

The county will collect data to track the exact locations of the bugs.
