Here are some stories making headlines across the Hudson Valley.
Monticello police say they are searching for a suspect accused of shooting a woman in the stomach. Police say they responded to a shooting in the parking lot of the Sleepy Hollow Development on Terry Lane Saturday afternoon. They say the victim was taken to the emergency room and transferred to Garnet Orange Medical Center in stable condition.
A man is facing felony charges for allegedly sexually assaulting a 16-year-old in East Fishkill. Wycliffe Ouma was arrested and charged after an investigation by detectives. He's being held in Dutchess County Jail on $20,000 cash bail or $40,000 bond.
And a reminder from police in Yorktown, remember to lock your vehicles. The department says it responded to multiple larcenies from unlocked cars near Bridal Ridge, Jefferson Village and Gomer Street. The department is asking residents to check home surveillance cameras and share any footage related to the incidents.
