Here are some stories making headlines across the Hudson Valley today.
Town of Poughkeepsie police are investigating a stabbing at the Hudson Heritage ShopRite. Officials say one person suffered a non-life threatening injury. They were treated and released from the hospital. Police also took a suspect into custody at the scene.
Eastchester firefighters are mourning the loss of one of their own. Fire Capt. Philip Pinto passed away Sunday morning after a battle with pancreatic cancer. He was raised in Eastchester and served the in the fire department for over 32 years. Donations should be made to the Lustgarten Foundation in lieu of flowers.
