There is an update on that large insect that a News 12 viewer
in Cornwall thought looked like a "murder hornet." Thankfully,
that doesn't appear to be the case. Experts at Cornell Cooperative Extension
say "murder hornets" are not found along the East Coast of the United
States. They say the insect appears to be Tremex columba, commonly
known as a Pigeon Tremex or Pigeon Horntail.
