Here are some stories making headlines across the Hudson Valley.
Court documents reveal that kidnapping suspect Craig Ross owned property only 1,400 feet from Charlotte Sena's family home. Investigators expect to file additional charges against Ross. He is scheduled to appear in court on Friday.
The Green Haven Correctional facility remains on lockdown 24 hours after the state ordered the prison in Dutchess County to undergo a full facility search. Most of the incidents involved prisoners against other prisoners, with some staff members also assaulted. Injuries included a broken nose and a cut from a weapon. A thorough search of the facility is anticipated to take several days.
A motorcycle-car collision occurred on Tuesday around 1:30 p.m. on Route 9 near the Adams Fair-Acre Farms in the Town of Wappinger. The motorcyclist, 29-year-old Eric Lebron of New Windsor, was airlifted to Westchester Medical Center. There is no report of injuries for the 65-year-old car driver, a resident of Lagrange in Dutchess County. The accident is under investigation.
