Here are some stories making headlines across the Hudson Valley.
A man is under arrest after a domestic dispute in Ulster County. Police say it happened around 2 a.m. in the town of Denning. They say the man threatened the other person with a rifle and unregistered handgun. He's now at Kingston Hospital undergoing a mental health exam.
A driver is facing drunk driving charges after a crash in Saugerties. Police say 24-year-old Nicholas Duffy-Goodman was speeding around 2:30 a.m. Sunday. He has been charged with four crimes including a DWI and criminal possession of a controlled substance. He's scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
In a matter of weeks, the Rye Reading Center is expanding to a new building. The new location on 30 Elm Place is expected to be completed in time for the new year. Programs will be taking place at the Rye Free Reading Room until construction is complete.
