Police responded to a domestic dispute report on Church Road, where they discovered that the accused perpetrator, Najel Soloman Jordan, had already left the area. However, the victim informed the police that Jordan had put her in a chokehold and forcibly dragged her into a bedroom. Jordan has been arrested and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
One person is in critical condition after being hit by a train in Spring Valley. The victim was trapped under the train and required assistance from first responders for removal. Subsequently, they were transported to Westchester Medical Center for treatment.
Authorities are searching for a group of young people who disrupted traffic and performed reckless driving maneuvers, known as "donuts," on the Mario Cuomo Bridge over the weekend. A video circulating on social media captured a car spinning out on the bridge while numerous individuals gathered outside their vehicles to observe. Police are actively working to obtain license plate information for those involved.
