State police have identified the body of a woman found on a Dutchess County golf course. Police say the body of 37-year-old Jacqueline Orzeck, of Middletown, was found last Thursday on a Fishkill golf course. They say she was last seen near William and Hasbrouck streets in the City of Newburgh the day before. Anyone with information is asked to call state police.
A man is facing grand larceny charges for her involvement in a fraud scam that authorities say is costing the victim more than $50,000. Walkill police responded to reports of fraud in the area of 3 Moriah Lane and arrested Prashil Sha. He will face a judge in two weeks.
Police say three people have been arrested in connection to illegal marijuana sales out of a Mamaroneck smoke shop. Investigators discovered marijuana and unlawful products at Eagle Convenience store on Halstead Avenue. The business owner and two employees have been charged with unlawful sale, and the business is now closed.
