Labor Day looks a lot different this year with so many businesses in our region trying to pick up the pieces after last week’s storm.

Enrico’s of Hartsdale is a bakery of 13 years. Owner, Joe Floriano, says they lost everything during Wednesday night’s storm.

Floodwaters reached the ceiling of the basement, where essential equipment needed to run the bakery is stored. From the bagel machine to refrigerators and so much more.

Dozens of garbage bags now store materials the bakery is desperate to replace.

Floriano says the holidays are helping to get through the next couple weeks, but after that, he says he doesn’t know if his business can move on.
