Harrison man charged with breaking into Rye home and assaulting person

Authorities say they were called Wednesday around 2 a.m. and were told that three men had broken into the home, all while the residents and guests were inside.

A Harrison man has been arrested for breaking into a home in Rye and assaulting someone who lived there, according to police.
Authorities say they were called Wednesday around 2 a.m. and were told that three men had broken into the home, all while the residents and guests were inside.
Police tell News 12 Robert Arquit is accused of assaulting one of them and then fleeing.
Officers quickly got a description of what Arquit looked like and found him and took him into custody
Arquit is facing a charge of burglary when he returns to Rye City Court on Sept. 13.
No word about the other two men said to be involved.
