Colorful artwork done by Bronx children at a neighborhood laundromat has been officially unveiled with a special live performance.

Portraits of Hope teamed up with kids from P.S. 35 and Montifiore Medical Center to create colorful artwork for the Happy Family Laundromat on 163rd Street.

The Happy Family Laundromat is just one of the four special locations in the Bronx that have been chosen by Portraits of Hope for a unique transformation, and the owners are thrilled with the results.

Owners of the Happy Family Laundromat told News 12 that they can't stop admiring the colorful artwork, and described the transformation as beautiful and wonderful.

To celebrate the debut of the unique laundromat artwork was a special live concert with a performance by Bronx native Leslie Grace, who partnered with Portraits of Hope and Gain laundry detergent.

The artwork done by the Portraits of Hope organization usually only stays up for about four months, but the work done at the Happy Family Laundromat will remain forever.
