A Greenburgh official is telling residents that they need to voice their postal concerns directly to the postmaster general in Washington, D.C.

Greenburgh Town Supervisor Paul Feiner says he has been getting calls almost every day from constituents complaining about post office problems.

He says residents are saying that many times their letters don’t arrive and that postal carriers don’t deliver mail.

Sen. Chuck Schumer and Rep. Nita Lowey have also complained in the past, but the problems continue. Feiner says he plans to take his concerns directly to the Postmaster General’s Office in the hope of getting results.

"I think the best plan is to complain a lot, yell and to let Washington know that this problem isn't going to go away,” he says.
