A local church in White Plains is serving as a pop-up vaccine site this weekend.
The Mt. Hope AME Zion Church is one of 16 new pop-up vaccination sites set up in churches, community centers and public housing complexes across the state in an effort to reach communities of color who were disproportionately impacted by COVID-19.
LIVE UPDATES: More than 11.5 million COVID-19 vaccine doses administered in New York, Cuomo says
The sites are expected to vaccinate more than 7,100 people.
Those who got their vaccines told News 12 that the process was smooth and easy.
