Goshen boy, West Point lax team spread autism awareness

A young boy from Goshen and the lacrosse team at West Point have teamed up to raise autism awareness. Ashton Guidi, 10, wrote a letter to Joe Alberici, the head coach of the West Point men's lacrosse team, telling him about his cousin Owen who has autism.   Guidi plays for the Goshen youth lacrosse team. Goshen boy, West Point lax team spread autism awareness
A young boy from Goshen and the lacrosse team at West Point have teamed up to raise autism awareness.
Ashton Guidi, 10, wrote a letter to Joe Alberici, the head coach of the West Point men's lacrosse team, telling him about his cousin Owen who has autism.  
Guidi plays for the Goshen youth lacrosse team. His teammates put autism stickers on their helmets during the month of April and asked Alberici to do the same with his team. 
Alberici agreed and invited the cousins to West Point to meet the players.
The West Point Black Knights will continue to wear the autism stickers even after Autism Awareness Month ends.
