A worldwide computer tech outage has caused chaos at airports across the world, including at Newark Liberty International Airport.
Many passengers waiting in line at Spirt Airline’s domestic flight counter at Terminal B tell News 12 that their flights have been delayed or canceled. The issues have not changed much from Friday morning.
Travelers say the promise of refunds won’t do much if they’re missing out on important events.
This has affected almost every airline in some way. United, Delta and American Airlines have resumed some flights but say the disruptions could continue through the night. They have also issued travel waivers.
Airport officials are urging travelers not to come to the airport unless they know their flights are confirmed.
