Good Samaritan Hospital held a fundraiser called "Girls Night Out" in Pearl River on Thursday night as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Several hundreds of people all decked out in pink packed the Hilton to eat, drink and shop.
Attendees also watched a fashion show where all the models were either breast cancer survivors or who are currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer.
The clothes were on loan from a local boutique.
Christine Martin was diagnosed with breast cancer only one year ago. She was a model in the fashion show and her friends came to support her.
"It's amazing and it's showing others it could be them as they go through this and that you can still be strong and beautiful and feel good about yourself," she said.
This was the sixth year that the hospital organized the event, and it says it just gets bigger every year. Proceeds from the event will go to the hospital's cancer center.
