A funeral Mass was held today at the Sacred Heart Church in Yonkers for retired Deputy Chief Owen McClain.
McClain also served as commander of the detective division and patrol unit.
He retired in 1989 after more than 36 years of helping others.
Chief McClain is survived by his three children.
