The FDNY battled flames when a four-alarm fire broke out Thursday in a home in Kingsbridge Heights.

Crews responded to a fire at 2666 Briggs Ave. Just after 8 a.m.

The fire broke out in the basement of a two-story home and extended up to the attic walls.

Video captured on Citizen showed thick smoke filling the area as FDNY continues to work to get the flames under control.

Authorities say four firefighters were injured while responding to the blaze.
