Former residents of Children's Village in Dobbs Ferry allege years of physical, sexual abuse

There are disturbing new allegations of years of physical and sexual abuse at the Children's Village in Dobbs Ferry.
Nearly a dozen former residents of the organization have filed lawsuits against the agency.
They accuse administrators of negligence and turning a blind eye to their abuse, which they say happened from 1970 to 1995.
One of the alleged victims tells News 12 he moved to the Children's Village when he was just 6 years old. He says shortly after, he was abused by a counselor.
The lawsuits are being filed under New York's Child Victims Act.
News 12 reached out to the Children's Village for comment but has not yet heard back.
