After
being partially closed for more than 24 hours, all sections of the Saw Mill
River Parkway are now reopened.
Several
sections of the parkway remained closed for most of the morning.
The
worst hit areas included:
- Northbound and southbound from Farragut Street Parkway to Lawrence Street.
- Southbound Hearst Street to Lockwood
- Northbound Tuckahoe Road
The
Bronx River Parkway was also particularly hard hit by the October nor’easter, but it is also now fully reopened.
