Flooding from overnight rain has closed some sections of Westchester County parkways. Parts of the Saw Mill River, Bronx River and Hutchinson River parkways were closed during the Thursday morning commute.
Heavy winds also caused some downed trees and nearly 3,400 power outages in Rockland and Orange counties.
News 12 Meteorologist Brysen VanEck say the winds should die down and floodwaters should recede as the morning progresses.
