An arrest has been made in the deadly stabbing of a 19-year-old girl who was originally from Warwick.
Police in Florida say they have charged D'Marcus Tucker, 15, with killing Nicole 'Nikki' Franco in June.
Franco, who was born in Warwick, moved with her family to Park Ridge, NJ before heading to Florida to study baking and pastry-making at a cooking school.
Authorities say Franco had reported a burglary in progress at her apartment, but was dead from stab wounds by the time police arrived.
Tucker, who lived next to Franco in the apartment complex, has been charged with murder. The Florida state attorney's office has not decided whether to charge the teenager as an adult.
