A 19th century barn in Watertown was destroyed Wednesday, fire officials say.

The fire happened at a barn located at 936 Linkfield Road and was part of the Gustafson’s Orchard.

The barn was completely destroyed, and officials say they are investigating the cause.

Officials say the construction of the barn and material stored within the barn including hay quickly ignited due to their combustible nature.

There were no animals injured in the fire.

Officials say the fire does not appear to be suspicious.
