Fire officials are investigating the cause of a fast-moving blaze that ripped through a building at the Ardsley Country Club in Dobbs Ferry on Saturday morning.
The fire started at around 4:30 a.m. at 100 North Mountain Drive. It quickly spread to the attic.
The fire department was working with a limited water supply to fight the flames because the club uses a private water system.
The two-alarm fire was contained to one side of the building. Crews managed to put out the fire in six hours.
Firefighters say the age of the building made access to parts of it difficult.
Nobody was in the club at the time.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
