A fire broke out at an apartment building in Spring Valley Wednesday.
The fire broke out around 1 p.m. at Country Village Towers, located at 101 Kennedy Blvd.
Responders arriving at the scene saw flames coming out of a seventh-floor apartment.
They say that the smoke spread down the hall, but they believe people keeping their doors closed help save lives.
Officials say people were trapped, but firefighters set up ladders and rescued everyone in the building.
There is no word on what caused the fire.
