FDNY: 2 homes, car damaged in Wakefield house fire; 2 injured

The FDNY is investigating the cause of a three-alarm house fire that sparked Sunday afternoon in Wakefield.

The FDNY is investigating the cause of a three-alarm house fire that sparked Sunday afternoon in Wakefield. FDNY officials say that more 130 firefighters responded to 4519 Seton Ave. 
The fire quickly spread to two neighboring homes and a car that was parked in the driveway. The flames melted the siding on one of the homes.
The FDNY says that a person who was inside the home that first caught fire was brought to New York Health + Hospitals/Jacobi and a firefighter was also treated at the scene.
News 12’s Heather Fordham was on the scene as firefighters battled the fire.
