Playland Park in Westchester is bringing back a longtime summer tradition with fireworks every Friday for the next two months.
The first show is set for July 4, with festivities beginning at 9 p.m.
“You can see it anywhere from the park, whether you're in the amusement park, on the boardwalk or on the outskirts of the park,” said Peter Tartaglia of the Westchester Department of Parks, adding that it shows Westchester County is back when it comes to Playland.
Playland will also operate on extended hours from July 2 through Sunday, with 22 rides open — nearly double the number available on Memorial Day weekend.
