Emergency responders and hazmat teams responded Thursday morning to a diesel fuel spill in Bedford Hills.
The spill happened at the Norco Oil Service Company on Adams Street and Payne Avenue. Authorities say a driver who was making a delivery heard a gurgling sound and then hundreds of gallons of oil started flowing down a hill and into a catch basin.
Environmental officials responding to the spill say the oil never reached the Kensico Dam and the local water supply has not been affected.
