A nurse practitioner from Elmsford is headed to prison for five years after orchestrating an $11 million disability fraud scheme.

The U.S. Attorney's Office says 44-year-old Catherine Seemer stole the identities of 12 doctors and used them to carry out the scheme.

As part of her sentence, Seemer must also pay more than $600,000 in restitution.
