The East Ramapo Central School District is seeking a new superintendent for the next school year.
In a board meeting earlier this month, the district said it's looking for candidates with certain qualifications. That includes having experience as a superintendent in a culturally and religiously diverse community, and a strong background in school budgeting and long-term financial plans, among others. You must also be eligible for New York State licensing as a school district leader.
The district says preference will be given to those who are bilingual and are willing to live close to the district.
