Frustrated parents in a Rockland County school district say they had to find new child care for their kids, weeks before the start of the school year.
Earlier this month, the Clarkstown Childcare & Early Learning Program leaders called several parents to say their children would not have a spot there this school year because staffing shortages meant some of the program's classes had to be closed and consolidated.
Some say they have found other child care options while some still have not.
News 12 has learned that the district is working on a solution and a job posting was up on the district's Facebook page Monday.
