Police say a driver slammed their car into a gas station Tuesday in Shrub Oak.
Authorities say the SUV swerved to avoid an animal and crashed into the Hilltop gas station around 9 a.m.
The car was heading toward a gas pump when it was stopped short by a barrier in front of the pump.
No one was hurt, and the identity of the driver is still unknown.
