The National Weather Service confirmed an EF-0 tornado touched down just after 4 p.m. Tuesday with peak winds of 85 mph. The tornado carved a path nearly 2 miles long from Purchase to Rye Brook, leaving downed trees at Manhattanville College and across surrounding neighborhoods.

Despite all of that, we had an incredible turnaround for Wednesday. After severe storms brought flooding and damaging winds, and as we await official word from the National Weather Service on a potential Hudson Valley tornado, the skies are clearing for a stunning, cool and starry night!

And guess what? The rest of the week is looking smooth as butter! High pressure is taking total control, serving up absolute weather perfection: nonstop sunshine, refreshingly low humidity, and prime temperatures hovering in the comfortable upper 70s to low 80s.

Best of all, this amazing stretch is sticking around right through the entire weekend! We can ditch those umbrellas, get outside, and soak up every minute of this gorgeous forecast!
