A driver has been issued three summonses after a truck that was packed with bananas slammed into the Wilmot Road overpass on the Hutchinson River Parkway in Scarsdale.
County police say the bananas did not spill out, but they had to be off-loaded so the truck could be towed.
The driver was issued summonses for unauthorized use of a restricted vehicle on the parkway, driving an overheight vehicle and disobeying a traffic control device.
The truck was headed to Massachusetts.
