The driver who police say caused a head-on crash on Pulaski Highway in Goshen this month has been charged for driving while impaired by drugs.
State police say Nicholas Cicio was arrested in Warwick on Saturday, following the crash between an SUV and an electrician utility truck Jan. 18.
At the time, authorities said at least one person was seriously injured in the collision.
The owner of JM Electric and Son, Inc. says his driver suffered a serious head laceration requiring surgery and is home now recovering.
Cicio is charged with vehicular assault in the second-degree for causing an injury by an operator impaired by drugs.
