After practicing a lockdown drill Tuesday morning, Bronxville High School students were forced to put what they learned to the test.School officials say they were told to go into lockdown mode after they were notified of a tense police situation nearby. According to police, a 31-year-old man from California was visiting with his parents in their nearby Musterton Road home, when he had a violent outburst. His mother then called police. The woman told police her son had hunting guns and threatened to use them if police showed up. After about an hour, police were able to convince the man to turn himself in peacefully. No one was hurt and school officials say they now know the emergency plan does work.
