Video shared by Yonkers police on Facebook shows officers tasering 41-year-old Curtis Greene, who was walking with a large kitchen knife on North Broadway Thursday.

The incident unfolded around 3:30 p.m. as Greene headed toward the crowded Getty Square area. Police ordered him to drop the knife, but he ignored them and kept walking.

Officers then used tasers, causing Greene to drop the weapon and fall. He struggled as police grabbed the knife and arrested him.

Greene faces charges including criminal possession of a weapon, menacing a police officer, and assault for injuring an officer during the struggle.

No one else was hurt.
