The woman accused of murdering her mother-in-law earlier this year is now facing more charges.
Prosecutors say Diana Nadell tried to have a fellow inmate kill two key witnesses who would be testifying against her in the murder case. The Florida woman was charged Wednesday with orchestrating the plot from jail to have the witnesses killed.
Nadell has been in jail since June for allegedly having her mother-in-law Peggy Nadell murdered back in January. Police say Nadell drove with an accomplice from Washington, D.C. to brutally beat and stab Peggy Nadell in order to claim a share of her money.
Three other alleged accomplices have already pleaded guilty in the case. Officials would not say who Nadell was allegedly trying to have killed, but say it was two women considered key witnesses for the prosecution.
